People who think their existence on twitter is important

Are you one of those people who says goodnight on twitter every night? or the person who finds the need to apologise for their twitter break when they haven't been on for a whole day?
If you are, it's probably best you don't continue reading this blog :)

I have a bit of an annoyance  for those people who think their presence on twitter is so important that every night they find need to say 'goodnight' to all their followers! Fair enough if your in the middle of a twitter conversation with someone then fair enough, tell them you're off to bed, but when u've been quite nearly all day and the rest of it spent basically having a chat with your self, is there really any need to announce to the whole of twitter that you are no longer available to chat?
I've seen some people tweet something, then 7hrs later come back on to say 'good night'! Who exactly are they aiming this at? The millions of people who logged on 7hrs ago to read ur tweet and are sat at home pinned to their computer in case you tweet again? I hate to break it to u, but if no one has replied to you in 7hrs, they probably don't care if u'r still on line or not *shrug*
I know that it is known for celeb's to do this, some I follow do (before people find the need to jump up and tel me lol) But normally a celeb will do this if they have been having some kind of chat with their fans. I'm sure no celebs (well none I follow) find the need to come on every night and tell u they are off to bed!

My other annoyance is people who aren't on twitter for a day, or sometimes an hour, then log on and feel they need to apologise for their 'Absence'??? If I'm totally honest, people probably didn't even notice you were gone, unless u r their fav celeb, they are probably just not that bothered. I work all day and between the hours of 7:30-10, 10-12:30, 1:30-3:30 and 3:30-6:30 I can't tweet and sometimes at the weekend I go the theatre. I can't tweet whilst I'm watching. and sometimes I don't even tweet in my work breaks!!! So for all this time I am away from twitter! I'm 100% sure that nobody worries about me, if I've fallen off the face of the earth, If I angry with them so I've stayed off twitter, If my phone's broken and I can't tweet or if I just gave up on the whole thing! They don't disworry because they don't care about me, they don't worry cos they know that, sometimes, people can't be on twitter at every part of the day!

Other people who find the need to apologise for their absences is people who run fan pages! Now most of the time, when u r away, it's because actually whoever it is u made the fan page for hasn't actually done anything and tweeting 'hey, sry I've not tweeted much. hope everyone still remembers this person exists! More news soon' is just a bit sad. Fan pages, in my opinion, r to update people on what that certain person is up to. Not to chuck their name in ur twitter name so they follow u and then not actually tweet anything about them!
I run a fan page, I don't update it much at the moment as the person I run it for isn't actually up to much at the mo, so I don't use it. I don't go on to let people know I'm still alive and so is the person the page is for. Yet no one ever messages to check either. Cos they just don't really care that much, the people who matter are My friends and know I'm alive anyway lol!

I'm not saying people don't care about u, of course people care, but if ur anything like me, u have 100's followers who don't actually know who u r, their for, technically, don't care, but in a nice way :)

So basically, yea stop doing it, cos basically, like me, most people just scroll straight past it, cos their not really bothered about ur daily routine and ur bed time :)

Fake fans and 5 minute fans!

So there is this lovely craze that I can't stand! People who think they are suddenly the biggest fan of something they have liked for 5 minutes and try to pretend they know all the in jokes and everyone and everything to do with what ever it is they are fanning for!
For those of you that read my  Things that proper wind me up blog will know that I cannot stand the phrase biggest fan and do not believe that such thing exists.
If you take a liking to something new, then fine, but don't then try to pretend you have been a fan since the very beginning. You will always get caught out, trust me!

I will use Girls Aloud and Legally Blonde the Musical as my examples as they are the things I know most about lol! Although I am 100% sure you get this with anything/person that has fans!

You can tell the new fans a mile off, they are the ones who come in after a few years and start waffling about facts that other fans learnt in the beginning but never really mention anymore. They are the ones who refer to GA as Cheryl Cole, The ginger one, the mouthy one, the Irish one and the other one. They are the people who go to see their "favourite" show, the one they are the "biggest" fan of, yet don't actually know the cast by name and refer to them by their characters name. They are the ones who try to get in with the people who actually have been going for a while and know the cast real names, so it can look like they have always been there to! They are the ones who claim to know the cast and speak to them all the time, but don't actually approach them to speak to them when they see them. They are the ones who join in to only laugh when u laugh, only scream when you scream, clap when u clap (u get the picture lol). These are the people who stop cast and ask for a picture before even finding out their name or whether they are even in the cast at all. These are the people who will ass lick a cast member, claim they are their biggest fan and that they have followed them their whole life, but then never quite manage to follow them to their next show cos in actual fact you just liked the character they played and the attention it brought you from being their "fan"

A lot of this came in with Girls Aloud when Cheryl Cole went solo and on X Factor. Millions of young girls became her fan and then took it upon themselves to say they have been a fan since the very beginning and then rush around to buy every piece of material they have ever made in a bid to be that "biggest" fan, even though u can't quite fully name the rest of the group without looking it up!
This happens with others as well, others that I've seen. To be honest, in my opinion, I don't think you need to own every single thing they have done to be a big fan. You don't win an kind of prize for having the most stuff, that person is not gonna come round and pat you on the back for wasting money on stuff they probably would quite like to forget.

As most of you probably know I am a Girls Aloud and Sheridan Smith fan, I don't own everything they have ever done, I have seen/heard every single piece of TV/Film/Radio work they have done, cos tbh some of it I'm just not interested in, I'm not about to go and buy Lark Rise To Candleford just because Sheridan appeared in a few episodes, I didn't make myself sit through Suck My Pop, after discovering within the first few weeks that it was a little bit shit, just because Kimberley Walsh hosted it.
People who make a point of owning everything are exactly what the first part of the title of this blog is, the second part is what they become, then they look back at all the stuff they brought in their moment of madness and begin to flog it on ebay!

If you wanna be a fan of something, then fine be one, but stop trying to out do others, you're all fans of the same thing, you should be joining and celebrating whatever/whoever it is, not fighting over who has who's autograph more, who's met them more, who that person tweets/speaks to more.
Just because they have spoken to that person more, simply means they have met them more, not that the certain person likes them better. If they've had more tweets is probably because you only tweet them a couple of times and week and they tweet them a couple of times an hour!

Just feel safe in your own knowledge that you know you support that person, cos really that's all that matters in the end

But to the saddo's who find the need to lie about it all, don't bother, true fans can always see straight through you ;)

Favourite Cast Members!

I have lately come to get an annoyance to people who love a cast member in a role in a show, then suddenly they leave, someone else takes their place, and this person becomes your new favourite!

One of the main people I have noticed it with is who plays Margot in LB! Everyone loved Amy, then suddenly Carey was their favourite now all of a sudden Ellie is the BEST Margot ever! (I apologise to all, but I don't get it :')) I know Carley still appears in the show as a different character but there is no reason why you can't still like her the most in the character she used to play. Ellie is funny, but Carley is my favourite Margot.

Most of you spend the whole time that person is in the show bigging them up, making them fan pages, telling them they are the best person to ever walk the stage in that role, then they leave and suddenly in your life they drop of the edge of your earth and you forget they ever appeared in the show! If you like someone then keep liking them! Meaning you continue to support them into other shows they go into, which I think it's very clear half of you don't/wouldn't!

I do understand that in some occasions the person who takes over is better, for example, in my opinion Siobhan was a much better Vivienne than Caroline and Natalie is a much better Paulette then DVO could ever have dreamed of being! I have changed my mind on a couple, Siobhan and Carley being 2 of them. But not every person to join the show is better than the person they replaced!

It would be like me turning around the first time I saw Susan as Elle and saying she was my favourite/Best Elle EVER!, or Britney turning around and saying Gemma is the best Enid ever! These things are not gonna happen cos we are true to the person we support whether they are in the show or not!

Oh and another thing is people who have never shown any interest in a cast member yet suddenly, other people start showing interest and all of a sudden you love them and apparently always have :/! A lot of people didn't even know swings existed in the cast, let alone who they were and what their names were. But once a few people started to show some interest and it was 'OMG Jane/Lucy/Ruthie are the best swings ever! Super swing!!!' ¬_¬

Dawn Sievewright Guys, Dawn Sievewright!!

And the people who have no idea who cast are, to the point they have to ask if their even in it, then want a picture! Why the hell do you want a picture with someone, that 2 seconds ago, you didn't even know who they were?? So u can go home, show ur friends and go 'yea she was in the cast, not sure what her name is or who she played tho'!

I know this is not something people only do with LB, as I have noticed it with other shows as well. I just use LB as my example as it's the show I see the most lol!

Also happens with Other things too! For people who don't know me all that well, I am a Girls Aloud fan, I follow many fans on twitter, the ones who arse lick Cheryl Cole at ever possible opportunity, but now love her X Factor replacement :/

If anyone cares btw my favourite's in all roles would have to be

TOW Dawn Sievewright

So for #LegallyBlondeCastChange we decided it would be a really good idea to put camp and spend the night outside the Savoy. I must say it was a very entertaining night! we sang some songs

We meet some lovely people

We made a lovely poster to stop people jumping in if we nodded off ;)

And of course not forgetting seeing the upperly amazing Dawn Sievewright!

Dawn Sievewright, don't leave right!

It was somewhat of an eventful night, but we had company! Ended up with 9 of us camping out lol!
We got the chance to educate the people of London about Dawn and got a free McDonald's!!!! We were also offered money by many people and questioned about our dedication and whether the show was worth it!
And we weren't unprepared! We had games, a legally blonde quiz, Red Bull, Pro-plus and Wine

We're in the day queue and we're drinking some wine!!!!

So around 7-8ish more people started to join us, the first of whom seems to be a little shocked that she turned up at that time and wasn't first in the queue :P
By the time the doors opened there was around 50 people in the queue!
Do we regret staying out all night and realising we could have got there around 8 and still been front row? Do we hell! We got the middle seats we wanted for both shows and all for £10 each! It was a memorable night full of laughter and tears.
I know us staying there all night caused somewhat of a topic via some people on twitter, I don't really see why people who weren't even there were fussed as to what time we got there, and people who were, well that's your hard luck :P!People camp outside shows all the time, wicked being one that is often done and that's done for just a normal show, not just cast changes! I'm not saying I would be up for it again, but I'm glad we did it and I don't really care what anyone else thinks! I'd have stayed there for a week to get front of the queue if they'd been doing dayseats when Sheridan left!

The shows themselves were brilliant, even if I did have some bad news during the second show. If anyone wasn't there or missed anything, Britney has wrote up all the muck-ups here Legally Blonde muck-ups
The evening was full of emotions, from some more than others, was such a fun SD tho!

Still don't think I've quite recovered, sleep wise, from that night, But who cares! Who needs sleep when there's Red Bull on sale ;) (disclaimer: of course there are also other energy drinks available on sale).

So I then went back on the Monday, it was very weird, but good. Seeing the new names on the cast board Some of the new cast really stood out like the new Vivienne and the new Serena! they were amazing! Can't wait to see the new understudies and swings!

Enjoy the show!

Followers!

Why are people so bothered about how many followers they have on Twitter?
It doesn't make u a better person just cos u have a few more followers than someone else, u don't win any kind of prize for being the highest! I would rather have less followers, who I actually know, than 1000's of followers who don't even have a clue who I am and just wanna be noisy at what I'm doing at all points of the day. Hence the reason I went thru and removed nearly 300 of my followers a couple of weeks back.

Then it brings me to people who follow u, then demand u follow them back or they will unfollow you! If I didn't follow u straight away then it probably means I don't care to follow u, therefore u unfollowing would really not matter to me at all. I follow people because I like them, or like what they tweet. I had someone ask me to follow them once and when I went onto their page the only thing they ever tweeted was asking people to follow them! Why would I want to follow someone who just tweets that?!?! I want people in my timeline to be interesting and entertaining, not begging for followers! I also don't see the point in #ff! If u wanna see if someone has twitter then search them. How many people can honestly say they follow people on a regular basis because of a #ff? It just fills up everyone's time line's and I'm sure I'm not the only one who just yawns and scrolls straight past them without a second glance!

My other pet hate with followers is people who follow someone just because their favourite celebrity told them to. Do u even know who that person you're following is? Would u stick your head in the oven if ur fav celeb told u to? Half the time I'm guessing people don't and wouldn't, what do u think it will achieve? An invitation round to the celeb who asked you to follows house for tea and scones? Yea it's not gonna happen. I also think of how the person who you have followed must feel? Why would u want a bunch of people who've never heard of u and are someone else's fans following u? And most probably tweeting u about the celebrity!

People need to chill out and stop using twitter like it's a competition! Who cares if u've got 100's more followers than me, who cares if the entire cast of The Only Way Is Essex follows u! In most examples being followed by someone famous/in the lime light makes no difference to how often they tweet u back. All it basically means is that they may just get to read the shit u tweet the same as all the regular people who choose to follow you!

And as always: if u don't like what I tweet or blog then feel free to unfollow and don't click the link for my blog! Simples! ;)

LB should just give up now and bring back Sheridan and Alex!

So we went to LB today. hhhhmmmm. It was gonna be my first time seeing Lee so I already had my wits about it! Seeing that Jane was on as Enid cheered me up tho!

It was a last minute trip, literally just happened to be around at half 9ish and noticed not many people queuing so decided to go! Was slightly annoyed to start with cos thy opened late (as per usual at LB) then the bloke at box office allowed the women in front of me to buy 3 tickets! Even tho they state it's 2 per person!

The show started off well as normal, Ibinabo was away which was a shame as u cannot beat her Pilar and tbh imo I don't feel Kimmy's voice blends as well with Carley's and Nicola's, but that aside we then get to Harvard Variations! And Lee walks out, now as I have said before, I was willing to see him, willing to give him a chance, but I was not impressed! His American accent isn't even there! He speaks like a private schooled proper boy should! As for his singing, he can hold a tune but that's about it. He has no strength to his voice and not much leverage with keys. I didn't think he had great chemistry with the other cast and didn't think his voice went brilliantly with Susan's.

So we get past Lee, oh but before we do I don't want to forget the fact that he messed up a couple of his lines! (Apparently typical him if what I've heard about him in Wicked is to be believed). Then we come to Ireland, so Natalie comes on and I must admit, she didn't quite seem herself, she didn't do the 'ELLE FOCUS' in Chip On My Shoulder either, she just said it normally, then it unfolded more in act 2 when she cuts out all of her little comedy bits she had added. We found this a bit strange, didn't think much of it with the first couple of bits, then thought more and more about it the more she left out.
After the show we got talking and wondered if maybe Jerry had said something since he was there watching the show on Thursday, when Natalie came out she did not seem her normally cheery self, we asked her about it and she confirmed what we thought! This must have been an awful kick to her, for Jerry to basically say she isn't doing her job properly. Now if u, like us, am slightly appalled by this and love all the bits that Natalie has added in, show your support and sign this twitition!

Bring Back Natalie Casey's funny bits!

I know that Natalie probably shouldn't have added these bits in, but the point is the fans love it! So what is the harm in her doing it? Some of the other cast have added their own spin onto the part! DVO did it with the exact same part!  And some of the other cast do, there are little bits that Susan/Nicola/Carley do that Sheridan, Or Amy, never used to do and vise versa! So why has he singled her out? Plus u have to remember that Jerry is American, America has a very different humour to us! That's why somethings were changed over here in the first place!

So basically to sum up, Lee sucks! Bring back Sheridan and Alex and Natalie's excellent comical moments!

Don't forget sign and share!

Bring Back Natalie Casey's funny bits!

http://twitition.com/7v2ds

Oh and in case anyone cares, after that episode I then got on the train at Holborn to come home, got 4 stops to Liverpool Street and it wouldn't go any further! We then find out that someone had fallen on the track at Holborn! 4 Stops behind us! So they were suspending the line from Liverpool Street to White City! Now I'm sorry but with today's technology I'm sure there must be someway in which they can single out individual stations to turn the power of to! And can I also mention we had already been waiting nearly half hour before they decided to suspend it! So I was luckily at Liverpool Street so able to get overhead, but was unimpressed with the fact I then had to pay out for a single ticket and waste my return on the bus!

Anyway enough moaning from me lol! To cheer me up you could sign this tho ;)

Bring Back Natalie Casey's funny bits!

Good things about today would be seeing Cara and Britney, the Dress Circle signing in which I encountered an awkward moment with Cassie Comptom cos I didn't know who the blokes were who had signed my benefit poster lol! Well apart from Alex of course, she did find it funny tho and said in a couple of weeks I'll probably look at hers and not know who it is lol! She's probably right tbh :')
The other highlight was Jane being on at LB!

Until next time I feel like a moan!
TTFN! Ta ta for now!

Things that proper wind me up

Disclaimer: This blog may offend some people but tbh if you worried about who you might offend all the time you would never do anything, cos basically everything you do could offend someone somewhere! I'm afraid that's life!

Something’s really do make me angry, but I quite often just bite my tongue and resist the temptation to say or type anything. A few of these things are the term biggest fan, spammers, liars, people who wait outside venues to meet people that they can't be bothered to actually support by going and seeing the show and people who try and judge what they haven't seen.

The term biggest fan really grates on me. I don't believe there is such a thing. People are fans in all different ways; I don't think it can be measured on what you own or how many times you've met someone. Some people may really idolise someone but not have the money to be able to buy all the things they have done or have the means to go and meet them. I am a massive Girls Aloud fan, but due to work, money, etc I haven't had the chance to meet them all.

Does this make me less of a fan?

And in another context I have got pictures with and autographs from people who I don't idolise, I like their work and the opportunity was there, but cos I have these . . .

. . . Does that make me a bigger fan than someone who actually loves them?

I hate people who spam celebrities for a response! Most celebs have loads of followers who probably also tweet them a lot and I am pretty sure they don’t have the time to spend all day sat on twitter replying to each and every person. And most people who do get a response from spamming get it because the celeb is probably bored of u and does it purely to shut u up! Also hate people who go 'oh it's cos they hate me' when they don’t reply! It's not cos they hate you, its cos they probably didn't even see your tweet and even if they did, when u tweet something like 'omg I love you' they probably don't think it needs a response!

Liars!!!!! You always get caught out so I don't really know why you bother? Also love it when people overexaggerate something that happened and u blatantly know they were lying as u were there to lol!

Now we move on to SD'ers who don't actually see the show and I'll throw ebayers into this as well! People say they want to go meet these people cos they love them and all.

If you truly want to support them as a fan then maybe you should go and see the show?

Cos like has happened to me a few times, I go to see the show get to SD after and there are already people there who haven’t bothered to see the show and end up getting to spend more time with whoever it maybe than the people who actually paid out to see the show!

And ebayers/people who ask for more than one autograph at a time! You people disgust me! You are basically using these celebrities as pieces of meat! Using them to basically either show off to people at the autographs you have or for financial gain by selling them on!

So last on my little list was people who judge things they haven’t seen! Even more so when they have a go at you for judging when they haven't even seen who your judging!

How can u judge something u haven’t seen?
Are u basing this on other people opinions?
Are you doing it to sound better in front of your mates?
For attention?
Just to be awkward and cause an argument?

Whatever your reason it is a bit pathetic tbh. If you don't think someone is going to be good at something then fair enough, but you can't say they are crap if you haven’t actually seen them. For example, a few months ago a friend and I were having a conversation about LB and Susan playing Elle. Both of us had seen Susan play the part, as had we seen Sheridan. We then got mulled on twitter by people saying we should support Susan and give her a chance in the role. Now those people, unlike us, had not actually seen Susan play that role.

So I'm sorry but who is not being supportive?
Us who still go and pay out to see the show?
Or u who sits at home and pretends to care?

Sometimes I do think maybe things or people won't be very good as I've heard they aren't. Key examples would be Grease The Musical, Shrek The Musical and Lee Mead! I still however went to see both musicals and will go and see Lee in LB. Ok so people were right about Grease, it was cheap, amateurish and tbh just a little bit rubbish, but the same does not apply to Shrek! I thoroughly enjoyed Shrek and would defiantly go again!

Which way will I sway with Lee?

I will have to wait and judge for myself.

Hope you enjoyed my views and as the disclaimer said if I offended you, well I'm sorry that's life. If I did offend you then it probably means you do or have done something on this list, so in a way, you offend me to :)
